"Application of Bax Normilasation in Saudi Arabia: The how!"
Stephan Bax argues that, "Our aim should be to attain a state of `normalisation'
in which the technology is invisible and truly integrated".
A) He have identified a possible future agenda for CALL. And he talked about their goal that can be the normalisation which he have described, in which CALL finally becomes invisible, serving the needs of learners and integrated into every teachers’ everyday practice. This will almost certainly require changes in technology, in the size, shape and position of the classroom computer. It will require change in attitudes, in approach and practice amongst teachers and learners. they have identified the means of achieving this goal. He argue that they need more in-depth ethnographic studies of individual environments to elucidate their relationship between the factors just mentioned. They also need action research in personal environments to identify barriers to normalisation and ways of overcoming them. This will not be an easy process. However, if they take their aim to be normalisation, and then work for ways of achieving it efficiently, computers can finally achieve their proper place and true potential in the classroom.
B) In my opinion we can not apply this normalization in Saudi Arabia because the using of computer are not suitable yet in schools . The computer only used as an additional subject not as a main subject like this I would say this normalisation is not working until they change the way of teaching this subject. Then think about using in teaching other subject.

Will you consider including synchronous tools in your future EFL classroom in Saudi Arabia? Will there be any drawbacks?
I think yes I will use synchronous tools in my future EFL classroom because of, Language learning is a process that involves two basic concepts: language and communication. Most language teachers know how difficult it is to get students to use language in class like this I think synchronous tools will help me to achieve my goal to make my student able to communicate with other and to love learning foreign language. Also I will use these tools for various reasons. One major use of these synchronous applications is in conjunction with my class or event while at school or in conjunction with my class in non-school times. Bringing in virtual visitors, experts or other educators to my school in this way allows my classroom or district to go global . In my opinion there is no drawbacks for using synchronous tools in Saudi Arabia .

How would I use blogs, wikis and delicious with my EFL students?
If I am a teacher I would use technology in my teaching to improve my student learning also I would use different kind of tool to help me. For example I would use blogs, wikis and delicious.
Blogs: is a type of website or part of a website. Blogs are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog "
I would use blogs to improve my student skills for example I will ask each of my student to create their own blog . Then I will ask them to put an exercise for each of the skills and in the following day they have to put an exercise for different skill and so…on. Also I may ask them to post their assignments in their blog .
Wiki: is a website that allows the easy creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language or aWYSIWYG text editor. Wikis are typically powered by wiki software and are often used to create collaborative wiki websites, to power community websites, for personal note taking, in corporate intranets, and in knowledge management systems." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki "
I would use wiki to post the lesson for my student and to allow them to comment on the lesson or on the activities which is going on the class. Also I will post a topic in my page of wiki and I will ask them to make a search about that topic in their own pages.
Delicious: is a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering webbookmarks. The site was founded by Joshua Schachter in 2003 and acquired by Yahoo! in 2005. By the end of 2008, the service claimed more than 5.3 million users and 180 million unique bookmarked URLs.
I would use delicious with my student to ask them to save their own bookmarks.
At the end I would say I will make the lesson more interesting and enjoyable by using the all of the previous tool.
